The circuit has a pair of changeover switches (F/f,G/g) at either side of the DC drive motor (M) controlling a supply line (7) coupled to the supply voltage (+) and a pair of earth lines (9/6,8/5) allowing the supply voltage to be inserted for rotation of the drive motor in either direction. At least one of the earth lines includes a measuring resistance (R) providing a voltage drop which is supplied as an input signal to a microcomputer (C) controlling the motor current directly or indirectly. Pref. a further measuring resistance (W) is inserted in the supply line, its voltage drop supplied to a further input of the microcomputer. USE/ADVANTAGE - For operating electric window or sunroof with simple monitoring of motor rotation direction.
