The swash plate pump is coupled to an auxiliary pump (7) in the form of a positive displacement pump having a rotor (8) and a hollow wheel (9) which encloses the rotor. The rotor is arranged between the cylinder barrel (3) and the control surface and firmly secured to the cylinder barrel and/or the drive shaft (6). The rotor has recesses (11) to connect the working bores (4) in the cylinder barrel to the kidney-shaped ports in the control surface. USE/ADVANTAGE - Twin pump aggregate requiring less installation space and made of fewer working parts; suitable for a hydrostatic drive with an open or closed circuit.
