The electronic digital circuit is provided for the multiplication of the binary coded numbers and is based upon a circuit having a 4 bit adder circuit combined with shift register and memory elements. The results generated by the processing stage is received by a series of memory elements. The processing circuit is controlled by a circuit based around pulse generating module (29). This provides gating signals for the main arithmetic stages and for the memories for cycle control. The module has flip-flops controlled for right to left shift operations. ADVANTAGE - Simplifies control unit of multiplier.
