Packing for safe transit of pump - uses three profiled shells of environmentally friendly material for total enclosure of pump

The packing has two shells (1,2) made of heat and/or noise insulating material which in the assembled state enclose the pump completely. The shells have recesses on the inner sides which match the pump external contours. An outer opening (6) allows the drive motor to project in part through the packing along the dividing plane (4) between the two shells. The opening itself is covered by a third shell (11) which fits by partially overlapping the other two shells. ADVANTAGE - Allows the pump to be transported without risk of damage: requires less packing material, which does not harm the environment on disposal.
