A trolley lock having a cord comprises a key at one end of the cord and an opening for receiving another key belonging to another trolley. The lock further comprises a slide with a deposit carrier, said slide being operatively interactive with the other key and provided with a locking member connectable to a power source and arranged to lock the slide and release the other key when a deposit is placed into the slide and the slide pushed in, to lock the other key and release the slide once the other key has been inserted into the opening, and to lock both said slide and the other key inserted into said opening when the locking member is not supplied by said power source. |
