<p>A method for measuring accurately the temperature and distribution of the wire while executing an electrical discharge machining. After the machining voltage is turned off, the loop current (IL) flows. The resistance between electrodes (11 and 12) is obtained from this loop current (IL) and the voltage between the electrodes (11 and 12) measured by a differential amplifier (13). From this resistance, the temperature of the wire (1) is obtained. Thus, the wire temperature can be measured accurately during an actual machining.</p> |
