<p>PURPOSE:To hide a basic material well and provide an ornamental board having a metallic gloss, by mixing a hiding filler and glossy powder of prescribed specific gravity and a dispersent with a bonding agent, coating the mixture on the basic material and laminating a light-permeable sheet on the coated mixture. CONSTITUTION:A hiding filler, preferably zinc flower or white lead, which has specific gravity of 3.5 or more, glossy powder such as mica powder which has specific gravity of 3 or less, and a dispersant such as sodium silicate are mixed with a bonding agent. The preferable quantities of the filler, glossy powder and dispersant are 1-10%, 1-10% and 1-3%, respectively. The mixture is coated on the top of a basic material such as plywood. A light-permeable sheet of polyvinyl chloride or the like is laminated on the coated mixture. The lower layer of the mixture coated on the basic material 1 is made of the hiding filler 3 of larger specific gravity and the upper layer of the mixture is made of the glossy powder 4 of smaller specific gravity. EFFECT:A hue can be unified in a single process.</p> |
