摘要 The throttle system to introduce fine-grain loose material from a pressure zone into a low pressure zone to be carried by a gas, is below the pressure zone with an entry flange (2) coupling it to the pressure zone. The unit has an angled conical shaft (3) to maintain the loose material flow, with a flap (7) to close and regulate the flow. The flap is operated by a rod (6) for setting externally. The conical shaft (3) and the dosing flap (7) is mounted in the housing (4), which connects the throttle system to the lower pressure zone via the conical outlet flange (8). A connection (5) for the conveyor gas is in a housing (4) wall to carry the loose material and also clean the moving parts of the dosing flap (7). USE/ADVANTAGE - The throttle system is for loosening and ejecting fine-grain loose material with low cohesion into a carrier gas stream, e.g. injecting time in the desulphurisation of pig iron. The system is simple to disperse fine-grain material evenly into a carrier gas stream, with an uncomplicated mechanism.
