<p>A storage unit (9) for elongated elements, particularly cigarettes (2), wherein a mass of cigarettes (2) is supported on a first conveyor (14) movable both ways through a loading-unloading station (11) where the first conveyor (14) is connected to a second conveyor (18) by a connecting plate (25). A transversely articulated slide (26) longer than the connecting plate (25) travels together with the first conveyor (14), and, when unloading, is pushed by an end contact member (17) on the first conveyor (14) into engagement with the second conveyor (18), and travels together with the second conveyor (18) so as to fully unload the storage unit (9). <IMAGE></p> |
