摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To obtain a compressed air source apparatus capable of increasing the lowering of a dew point in accordance with use environment and having high productivity, by arranging two compressed air dryers having the same capacity in series and providing a change-over valve for blocking the mutual communication of both of them at the time of a regeneration cycle. CONSTITUTION:Compressed air discharged from an air compressor 1 is allowed to flow in a main body A from the inlet 2a of a first compressed air dryer 2 to dry an adsorbent layer and a part of said compressed air is stored in a regeneration tank B while the remainder thereof is allowed to flow in a second compressed air dryer 3 from the outlet 2b of the dryer 2 through a change-over valve 4 to dry the adsorbent bed in the main body A and a part of the compressed air flowing in the dryer 3 is stored in the regeneration tank B while the remainder thereof is stored in a compressed air storage tank 6. When the internal pressure of the storage tank 6 reaches predetermined one, the emitting operation of the compressor 1 is stopped by the signal of a governer device 7 and the change-over valve 4 is changed over to block the communication of the dryers 2, 3 and, at the same time, the exhaust valves C of both dryers 2, 3 are opened to allow dry compressed air to flow backward to the respective main bodies A from the regeneration tanks B to regenerate the adsorbent.</p>
