A motor vehicle headlamp comprising a lamp (10) with two filaments, a first of which (11) is provided with a dish (11a) so as to allow light to pass only over a given angular range, and a second of which (12) has no such dish, a reflector (20) capable of interacting with one or other of the two filaments in order to respectively generate a fog beam and a high (main) beam, and a closure glass (lens). According to the invention, the reflector comprises a first region (20a) whose extent corresponds to the said angular range and which itself generates images of the first filament, all the points of which are situated below a horizontal cut-off, in order to form the fog beam, and a second region (20b) continuously connecting with the first region, the said first and second regions interacting with the second filament to form the high beam. <IMAGE> |
