The invention relates to a clear-spanning roof construction intended for buildings, containing a corrugated roofing panel 1, which is united with a horizontally extending anchoring plate 4. The latter extends from face 2 to face 3 across the building, and is fastened to the upper edges of said faces. The panel 4 extends outside the faces, and is bent at the base of the roof for joining the roofing panel 1 at its lower side.
