<p>A cooling system for an automotive engine has a first passage (6) provided between an outlet (5) of a water jacket (4) of the engine and an inlet (12) of a radiator, a second passage (14) provided between an outlet (13) of the radiator and an inlet (10) of the water jacket (4), and a first bypass passage (7) provided between the first passage and the second passage. A second bypass (15) passage is provided between the second passage (14) upstream of a thermostat (1) and the first bypass passage (6), so that the coolant flows in the cooling system passing through the radiator (11), the second bypass passage (15), and the first bypass passage (7) when a main valve (3) of the thermostat (1) is closed. <IMAGE></p> |
