<p>A vaccine useful for the protection of poultry from colibacillosis infections comprises as an active ingredient pre-inactivated and ultrasonicated E. coli cells. Poultry may be protected from colibacillosis infections by inoculating said vaccine into poultry through the cloaca.</p>
