PURPOSE:To provide a novel promoter having an important work on the production of HSA in a high level and a method for obtaining the same, and to provide a method for obtaining a transformant with a plasmid carrying the promoter and then establishing a system producing the HSA. CONSTITUTION:The method for producing the human serum albumin comprises (1) producing a plasmid carrying a human serum albumin gene and an AOX 1 promoter having the DNA sequence of the sequence number 1, (2) introducing the plasmid into a host to transform the host, and (3) culturing the obtained transformant to produce the human serum albumin. |
