PURPOSE:To obtain the subject resin composition, composed of a thermoplastic resin, a cross-linkable type polyalkylene oxide and a metallic organic sulfonate or an ionic dissociable metallic salt without impairing performances of the base resin and hardly deteriorating the antistatic properties even after use for a long period. CONSTITUTION:This highly antistatic resin composition is obtained by blending (A) 100 pts.wt. thermoplastic resin (e.g. polyvinyl chloride resin) with (B) 2-40 pts.wt. cross-linkable type polyalkylene oxide (e.g. a cross-linkable type polyethylene oxide) and (C) 0.3-10 pts.wt. metallic organic sulfonate of the formula (R-SO3).M [(n) is 1-2; R is alkyl or alkylphenyl; M is alkali metal or alkaline earth metal] (e.g. sodium dodecylbenzenesulfonate) or an ionic dissociable metallic salt of the formula MXn [X is halogen, SNC, ClO4, BF4, PF6, B[phi]4, (phi is phenyl), CF3SO3 or CF3CO2] (e.g. sodium iodide). |
