PURPOSE:To increase traveling feeling and operability by judging accurately an unconscious operation state of an accelerator by a driver and, when the unconscious operation state occurs, slowing the behavior of a vehicle. CONSTITUTION:A vehicle control device is provided with an engine 1, a fuel feed system 26, an air intake system 9, a power transmission system 2 to transmit power of the engine, and a behavior control means B to control the behavior of a vehicle. An unconscious operation control judgment means 17 to judge whether an accelerating operation is in unconscious state or not is provided, and also a behavior correction means A to correct the behavior change of the vehicle caused by the behavior control means slowly when it has been judged to be in the unconscious state is provided. When the behavior control means B is used for the power transmission system, a speed change prohibition means and a lock-up release means are provided as a behavior correction means A. When it is used for the engine, an engine output correction means, a throttle opening correction means, a combustion correction means, a throttle opening control system changeover means, and its ratio change means are provided as a behavior correction means A. |
