PURPOSE: To obtain blue dyes suitable for heat transfer by using a carrier containing a plurality of anthraquinone dyes of predetermined general formula in a transfer method by the use of laser. CONSTITUTION: A transfer is effected by making a carrier contain one or more kinds of anthraquinone dyes represented by the formula I by diffusion or sublimation. In the formula, X represents hydrogen or cyano, and R<1> -R<3> each represent non-relatively hydrogen, alkyl, alkanoyloxyalkyl, alkoxy carbonyl oxyalkyl, alkoxy carbonyl alkyl, and each has 20 or less carbon atoms and can be replaced with halogen, hydroxyl, and cyano, and furthermore, can be replaced with phenyl, benzyl having alkyl or alkoxy of C1 -C15 , or can be replaced with groups represented by the formula II, where W is alkylene group of C2 -C6 , n is 1-6, R<4> is alkyl group of C1 -C4 , or phenyl of non-replaced or replaced with alkyl or alkoxy of C1 -C4 . |
