COATED PRESSURE-SENSITIVE SELF-ADHESIVE CARRIER AND ITS PRODUCTION

PURPOSE: To form a coating layer easily removed, containing no silicone, having high strength and capable of being circulatably used on a self-adhesive surface by coating the surface having a pressure-sensitive self-adhesive film of a self-adhesive carrier with an embossed film. CONSTITUTION: An emboss-processable stretched and thermally fixed multilayered film comprises polyesters having different melting points and is produced by providing a polyester layer having a lower m.p. comprising copolyester containing an ethylene terephthalate unit and an ethylene isophthalate unit between two outside polyester layers comprising polyethylene terephthalate. The characteristics of this film resides in that the film is biaxially stretched and the intermediate layer contains 5-95 wt.% of an ethylene isophthalate unit.
