PURPOSE:To improve the extent of maintenance and reliability by miniaturizing the structure of a magnetic fluid seal part of a superconductive rotary machine, and enhancing a vibro-characteristic or the like. CONSTITUTION:An O-ring groove 10 sealing a clearance between a pole piece 2 and a casing 1 constituting a magnetic fluid seal is installed in an inner circumference of the casing, while the axial position is set up in space between two magnetic fluid feed holes 7. Therefore the axial length of the pole piece 2 is reducible, so the whole device is miniaturized, improving a vibro-characteristic, and maintenance and reliability are all improved. |
