PURPOSE:To provide a method for eliminating antiplatelet antibody through binding thereto using a peptide containing a specific amino acid sequence or a modified organic compound from the peptide, and to obtain the subject adsorbent by immobilizing the peptide or organic compound onto a water-insoluble carrier. CONSTITUTION:The objective polypeptide is made up of <=70 amino acid residues so as to contain a peptide domain consisting of one of the following amino acid sequences: (1) PLSDKGSGDSS, (2) GKIRSKVELEVRDLPE, (a) EEDYRPSQQDECSPRE, (4) KFDRE, and (5) TANN. The other objective modified polypeptide contains the peptide domain. The objective antiplatelet antibody absorbent can be obtained by immobilizing at least one kind of these peptides onto a water-insoluble carrier. |
