BELT CAST METHOD AND DEVICE FOR PRODUCING FILM

PURPOSE:To prevent the appearance of sheet from worsening by a method wherein the difference in temperature between a molten resin and the resin flowing reversely from the starting point of running the molten resin between endless belts is eliminated and, even when these resins meet, the occurrence of periodical patterns is avoided. CONSTITUTION:A belt cast sheet making method wherein a molten resin 2 delivered from its nozzle 1 in the form of a strip is cooled and solidified while being pressed between a pair of metal-made endless belts 4 and 4' having a flat and smooth surface is characterized by heating the endless belts 4 and 4' to a temperature not lower than that of the molten resin 2 by heating means such as heating rolls 3 and 3' and ultraviolet heaters 5 and 5' before the molten resin 2 starts to run between the endless belts.
