MEASURING THE DEGREE OF DISPERSION IN FLOWING SUSPENSIONS

An arrangement for measuring a degree of dispersion in flowing suspensions is disclosed. The arrangement comprises a sample stream flow cell which is constructed as an enveloping stream cell and is equipped with a laser-optical measuring means, a constant pressure and flow means upstream of an inlet for the enveloping stream, and a regulating means downstream of an outlet from the cell for the sample and enveloping stream flow rate. The arrangement allows reliable use in pressurized systems.
