7.beta.-¢(Z)-2-(2-Amino-4-thiazolyl)-2-hydroxyiminoacetamido!-3-(1,2,3-triazol-4-yl)thiomethylthio-3-cephem-4-carboxylic acid hydrochloride and its crystalline hydrate, which have a potent antibiotic activity and are low toxic and pharmaceutically stable, thereby useful as an active ingredient of clinically useful antibiotic formulations, and the production thereof.
