<p>PURPOSE:To change sheets over to each aimed carry path surely and send them even if the intervals between feed sheets are made very narrow corresponding to the speedup of equipment. CONSTITUTION:A roller 21 capable of normal and reverse rotation is provided on the extension L in the feed direction of a sheet P which passes through the nip Np between a pair of feed rollers 31 for feeding a sheet P, and this device is arranged so that the direction of carrying a sheet instantaneously with the simple operation of merely changing over the rotational direction of the changeover roller 21, and the direction of carrying the sheet P is changed over between carry paths 33 and 34. For the changeover roller 21, the changeover of the carry path can be performed surely the same even if it is replaced with a changeover belt. Moreover, the intervals between sheets can be cut down more by performing the changeover of the rotational direction of the changeover roller before the rear of the sheet separates from the roller. The changeover roller may be constituted of rollers in a pair.</p> |
