PURPOSE:To align the directions of the printing of an odd number of sheets and an even number of sheets and the positions of binding margins, and to view said directions and positions easily by correcting and varying the directions of printing of one page data of perfecting printing data prepared at a long-edge- bind-mode, where perfecting printing is decided to be impossible, in a perfecting press. CONSTITUTION:Printing data reveived from a host 6 are held temporarily in an input buffer 8, and the printing data are read successively and prepared in a page buffer 9 as one page data. The one page data are developed onto a frame buffer 10 as bit map data, and output to a perfecting printing engine 12. Since printing data in page two are directed in the direction opposite to the direction of printing of printing data in page one at that time, the one page data are output from the last of the buffer 10 in contrast with an output from printing data in page one from the buffer 10. The direction of the output from the printing data is registered to a page attribute file 11 as the attribute of the page and executed at the time of the preparation of the page data by the buffer 9 regarding the output of the one page data. |
