PURPOSE:To develop a damping material composed of a rubber substance to be laminated to a metal and capable of well absorbing vibration. CONSTITUTION:A damping material is formed from a compsn. consisting of of 80-60 pts.wt.% of a polycarbonate resin and 20-40 pts.wt. of a polyester elastomer and characterized by that the max. value of loss tangent (tandelta) is 0.5 or more within the temp. range of 80-160 deg.C and the difference between the temp. wherein tandelta becomes 0.1 and the temp. showing the max. value is at least 25 deg.C and laminated to a metal plate to absorb vibration. |
