PRODUCTION OF BETACYANIN USING CULTURED CELL OF PHYTOLACCA AMERICANA L.

摘要

PURPOSE:To obtain a method for producing betacyanin using a cultured cell derived from Phytolacca americana L. and a liquid culture medium used therefor. CONSTITUTION:A cultured cell granule, derived from Phytolacca americana L. and having the ability to produce betacyanin is cultured in a culture medium containing potassium ions at 60-150mM concentration and sucrose and/or phosphate ions are further dividedly fed to remarkably improve the productivity of the betacyanin with the cultured cell granule. Thereby, the objective betacyanin is industrially and efficiently mass-produced.
