PURPOSE:To provide an ink jet recorder and an ink jet recording method which are capable of recording always a high quality image without being influenced by a class of a recording medium, a surrounding atmosphere in which the recording is placed, or a preservation state or the like of the recorder. CONSTITUTION:A bleeding quantity control means which controls a bleeding quantity of ink on a tablecloth 36 is provided at a position on the up-stream side of an ink jet head 9 as to a moving direction of the tablecloth 36 being a recording medium. For instance, a heating means 81 for controlling a water content of the tablecloth 36 by heating it is used as the bleeding quantity control means. |
