PURPOSE: To provide an improved type ski exhibiting sufficient maneuverability even under an extreme operating condition which consists of the first lower subassembly (a soul plate) having proper rigidity distribution, and the second upper subassembly (a reinforcement) connected to a base plate through a connecting measure which is flexible and/or partially rigid. CONSTITUTION: This rigidity reinforcement 2 contains two separate parts 20 and 21 each are separated with a small distance. These two parts 20 and 21 act each other to increase the rigidity of the ski under an operating condition when the ski receives a bending load.
