PURPOSE: To increase the strength of metallic roofs by turning up the longitudinal end of the metallic roof and jointing them together and fitting a plurality of seam clamps to a portion where the maximum load acts to constitute the metallic roof. CONSTITUTION: A seam reinforcing clamp 40 is constituted of two metallic parts, i.e, a female parts 42 and a male parts 44. A V-shaped groove is cut in the longitudinal direction of the inside surface 54 of a head. Then, A base 46 is shifted from the engaged face of the surface 54 and the male parts 44 by a distance corresponding to the thickness of two sheets of metallic panels and the thickness of a clip strap 32. A bolt 70 is forced to penetrate into bolt holes 66, 68 and fastened with a nut 72 and a washer 74. |
