<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the supply power capacity to a heating element of a thermal head for every recording by using a thermal head comprising a plurality of heating element blocks for recording for one line. CONSTITUTION:A thermal recording data provided in the input video information is extracted from a signal 14a outputted by a central processor unit(CPU) 13 to a thermal head 11, and an electric signal 16 is transmitted to the thermal head 11 based on the above-said thermal recording data, and a thermal-recording control circuit 15 for the recording of the thermal head 11 is provided. The operation of a stepping motor 18 for driving a platen roller 19 as a recording material feeding means for feeding a recording paper 20 based on a signal 14b sent from the CPU 13 is controlled by a motor control circuit 17. A recording paper 20 driven by the stepping motor 18 is transferred in the scanning direction of heating element blocks of the thermal head 11 by the platen roller 19.</p> |
