PURPOSE:To produce the title surface roughened film and sheet suitable for improving the adhesiveness of a resin substrate and a prepreg without damaging releasability. CONSTITUTION:Molten poly 4-methyl-1-pentene is extruded from the die 1 of an extruder to form a film or sheet and the film or sheet is heated to the temp. range from the softening point thereof to below the m.p. thereof to be supplied to the nip of a pair of rolls 2a, 2b at least one of which has average surface roughness of 0.5-10mum and pressed by the rolls to be taken up.
