<p>PURPOSE: To form lines of perforations at variously spaced intervals along the lengthwise direction of a web by providing a means feeding a web in a prescribed route between the anvil roll and the perforating blade edge at a prescribed speed different from the speed of the anvil. CONSTITUTION: A rotatable anvil roll 7 carrying one or two anvils 41 for forming lines of perforations at spaced intervals along a continuous web W cooperating with a fixed perforating blade edge 95 is arranged. A means 97 feeding the web W between the anvil roll 7 and the perforating blade edge 95 at different speed from the speed of the anvil roll 7 is provided. Further, a means 105 positioning the anvil roll 7 to have adjustable inclination relative to a plane traversing the passage of the web W perpendicularly to the edge of the web W.</p> |
