WEB HEAT TREATMENT APPARATUS

PURPOSE:To reduce heat loss by providing the suction part of return air ducts in the vicinity of the feed-in and feed-out ports of a web and connecting the ducts to a heating chamber to circulate the hot air generated in the heating chamber to a trank chamber. CONSTITUTION:The suction part 36 of a front return duct 34 is positioned in the vicinity of the web feed-in port 14 of a trank chamber 12 and the duct 34 is connected to a heating chamber 18 having a fan 22 and a heat exchanger 20. The suction part 36 consists of the upper suction duct 38 above a running passage and the lower suction duct 42 under the running passage and the web feed-in port 14 is surrounded by a connection duct 46 and the central part of the upper suction duct 38 is connected to the front air duct 34. Therefore, hot air is not fed out of the feed-in port 14 to be drawn into the suction part 36. The suction port 50 of a rear return air duct 48 is positioned in the vicinity of a feed-out port 16 to be constituted in the same way. Therefore, hot air is circulated in the trank chamber and not discharged to the outside to prevent heat loss.
