<p>PURPOSE:To provide a composite damping material of high capacity excellent in molding processability within a normal temp. range, having heat resistance not generating processing trouble such as the leakage of a resin from the end part of the damping material or the deformation of the damping material in a high temp. process and finally having excellent damping properties within the use temp. range of 10-80 deg.C. CONSTITUTION:In a method for producing a composite damping material by superposing a plurality of metal plates one upon another through a resin compsn. for an intermediate layer, the complex viscosity eta* of the resin compsn. for the intermediate layer is 10-10<3>P in a process coating the metal plates with the resin compsn. for the intermediate layer, 10<2>-10<4>P when the metal plates are laminated through the intermediate layer and the metal plate laminate is subsequently processed and 10<4>-10<6>P after a damping material is formed by baking and curing the metal plate laminate.</p> |
