<p>PURPOSE:To provide a method for discharging waste water from a dry-cleaning device as purified steam into air by absorbing and removing org. solvents contained in the steam with a super-absorbing (non-hydrophilic) polymer prior to discharging into air as steam by vaporizing the waste water with an aeration device or vaporizing device of waste water. CONSTITUTION:A cylindrical housing 2 is separated into one or more tanks with strainers 3, and each tank 4 is filled inside with a small amt. of polymer- deposited medium 1 having deposition of super-absorbing (non-hydrophilic) polymer powder. The bottom plate 5 (lowest tank) of the housing has an inlet 6 for steam. The top plate 7 (uppermost tank) has a discharge port 8. The top plate 7 and the bottom plate 5 have drains 9, 10, respectively, to collect and discharge water drops produced by condensation of steam.</p> |
