PURPOSE:To improve stability, and to enable absorption extending over a wide range from a visible section to a near infrared section by combining an aromatic amino compound or an aromatic amino compound shown in specified general formula and a metallic complex compound color-developed at the time of heating in the title unit such as an optical character reader. CONSTITUTION:An aromatic amino compound shown in formula I or II or an aromatic imino compound shown in general formula III and a metallic complex compound such as a complex compound such as Y, Ti, etc., color-developed by working to the aromatic amino or imino compound at the time of heating are combined. R<1>-R<3> in formulae represent an alkyl group, an alkoxy group, a hydroxyl group, an aryl group, an aralkyl group and a halogen atom and (m), (n), (p) and (q) the integer of 1-4 respectively. R<1> in formula 1 represents a halogen-substituted alkyl group, a carboxyl group, an alkoxycarbonyl group, an aminocarbonyl group, a benzoil group or an amino group. |
