PURPOSE:To remove the odor in an odor generating source without using a large deodorization device, to improve working environment, to finally contribute an antipolution measure and to reduce the deodering cost in a casting method using a green sand mold. CONSTITUTION:A gas suction layer is provided on the inside of a molding flask in the green sand molds 2, 4 and the gas suction layer is connected with an exhaust gas passage at the outer part and on the other hand, a vacuum pump 8, compressor 10, accumulator 12 and deodering device 14 packing deoderant in a prescribed vessel are provided successively. At the time of pouring a molten metal, the odor or the gas generated from a core and molding sand is introduced to a gas exhaust passage by the sucking action of the vacuum pump 8 and after compressing the gas with the compressor 10, the odor or the gas is made flow into the deodoring device 14 through the accumulator 12 and also, the odor or the gas is retained in the deodoring device 14 until the pressure in the deodoring device reaches a prescribed pressure. |
