<p>PURPOSE:To improve safety of transporting operation at a height by clamping rail of lift support with a rail clamping mechanism after a carrier is stopped at an unloading position while vertically moving the carrier after detecting the absence of person on the carrier by a person detecting sensor. CONSTITUTION:Rail clamping mechanisms 30 to be operated orthogonal to lift supports 1, 1' by a linear actuator (hydraulic cylinder) are disposed on the lower portions of lift frames 11, 11' of a carrier 10 vertically moved by suspending cables 20, 20'. On the other hand, person detecting s ensors 40 capable of detecting heat rays only in erected surface areas along the carried articles unloading sides are disposed on the upper portions of a load bed 15 of the carrier 10. These sensors 30, 40 are controlled respectively by electric controllers, i.e., the carrier 10 operates a rail clamping mechanism 30 to clamp the rail after the carrier 10 is stopped at the load unloading side, while the person detecting sensor 40 is operated. On the other hand, the carrier 10 can vertically move after the person detecting sensor 40 detects the absence of person.</p> |
