<p>PURPOSE:To shorten the recording time by repeating the counting operation by means of a dot number counting means and the control operation by means of a control means for the counting operation in a remaining printing data and carrying out the recording for one line. CONSTITUTION:When the transmission of data for one line is completed, a latch signal (LA) 26 is issued to a latch circuit 12. The state of whether respective dots heat or not in response to the driving of a thermal line head 14 is retained in the data for one line for printing set in the latch circuit 12. Lastly the current from a power source 20 is applied to a heating development of the thermal head 14 only during the active state of a strobe signal 28 of the thermal line head 14 according to the data in the latch circuit 12 set by the strobe signal (STR)28 issued from a printer control section 8. As a result, the recording paper is colored or ink is fusion transferred to the recording paper to complete the printing for one line.</p> |
