PURPOSE: To obtain a treating drug contg. an effective amt. of a specified compd. and effective for a neurodegeneration disease such as Alzheimer type senile dementia. CONSTITUTION: This treating drug uses a compd. represented by the formula (where R is H or an alkyl, R<1> is an alkyl, X is a halo or an alkyl, 0<=n<=4,, 0<=m<=3 and n+m>=1), e.g. 5-fluoronicotine by such an effective amt. as 5-150μg per 1 kg body weight of a patient. The compd. is administered to a patient by 0.10-10 mg/hr. |
