PURPOSE: To provide a gas-generating set which has a small structural volume, is advantageous in cost and can be combusted reproducibly in a high pressure/ low pressure system. CONSTITUTION: A gas-generating set is in the shape of a thin film gas-generating layer 20 and is composed of the mixture based upon metal azide and oxidizer, first binder for granulation and rapidly combustible igniting mixture 21. The elastic gas-generating layer 20 is arranged in a bag which is pressure-resistant up to a certain degree and consists of relatively gas-tight fabric.
