PURPOSE:To kae it possible to change an unused plate cylinder with a used one quickly and surely under the condition that the positioning operation of the plate cylinder is also completed. CONSTITUTION:An unused plate cylinder 1a is carried with a plate cylinder carrying truck 20 into the starting point of an elevated track 4, transferred with a plate cylinder delivering device 40 to a positioning device 3, set with the positioning device 3 to the predetermined position, transferred again with the plate cylinder delivering device 40 onto a plate changing truck 50, with which the unused plate cylinder 1 is changed with a used plate cylinder 1 under the state being carried into alongside a printing unit E. The used plate cylinder 1b unloaded from the printing machine is carried with the plate changing truck 50 out under the elevated track 4, transferred with the plate cylinder delivering device 40 to the plate cylinder carrying truck 20 and finally delivered with the plate cylinder carrying truck 20 from the starting point of the elevated track 4. |
