The invention concerns a device for tilting or turning an object as far as up to a quarter of a turn. A plate or similar element (1) is hingedly secured to at least one stay (3) and to at least one double-acting piston-and-cylinder unit (4). The stay and the unit are in turn hingedly connected to a support, such as a support frame (22). The piston-and-cylinder unit (4) is arranged, from its extended position, by contracting pivot the plate (1) from an essentially horizontal position to an essentially vertical position or inversely, for the purpose of turning an object (8) resting on the plate (1) as far as up to a quarter of a turn. |
