PURPOSE:To provide a copper multiple oxide superconductor high in Tc, producible under controlled carrier concentration. CONSTITUTION:The objective superconductor has such structure that one or more charge carrier feed layers consisting of a substance of composition formula (Ca1-alphaSralpha)betaCuOgamma(alpha, beta, and gamma are each a number satisfying the relationships: 0<=alpha<=0.9, 0<=beta<0.8, and 1.6<=gamma<=2.2, respectively) are periodically put in between the recurring units, one or more superconducting layers consisting of a substance of composition formula (Ca1-deltaSrdelta)epsilonCuOxsi(delta, epsilon, and xsi are each a number satisfying the relationships: 0<=delta<=0.9, 0.8<=epsilon<=1.1, and 6<=xsi<=2.2, respectively). This superconductor can be produced by stacking method. |
