One portion (2a) of the rod (2) is threaded to screw into the thread (4a) in the hollow part (4) of the end fitting. The length of the link is adjusted by turning the threaded rod, and locking it with the nut (10) against the face (4d). USE/ADVANTAGE - For multi-link vehicle suspensions. The length of the link may be adjusted without disturbing the relative positions of the ball-joint and the axle housing, and fine adjustments are easier.
