PURPOSE:To allow an reader to easily understand a document by replacing a retrieved idiom or expression with that of low degree of difficulty. CONSTITUTION:The idiom is retrieved from the document stored in RAM 103 and whether the retrieved idiom is of high degree of difficulty or not is previously decided in accordance with a degree of difficulty table. As the result of the decision, when the retrieved idiom is of high degree of difficulty, the idiom is replaced with the expression of low degree of difficulty, which is previously decided. Furthermore, all the idioms and expressions are divided into many groups in accordance with the degree of its difficulty and ranks are decided for the groups in accordance with the difficulty. The rank is specified in accordance with individual difference from a key board 104 and an idiom belonging to a group which is more difficult than a specified degree is replaced with the idiom or expression of a lower order. |
