PURPOSE:To efficiently supply a driving current for a motor by setting an upper limit value of a peak current, so limiting that a mean current varying according to a speed of rising of the driving current does not become overcurrent, and regulating the mean current at the time of detecting the overcurrent. CONSTITUTION:A driving current signal 8 is compared with a peak current upper limit value 10 by a comparator 2. A mean current signal 9 obtained by integrating the signal 8 by an integrator is compared with a mean current upper limit value 11 by a comparator 3. If either one becomes an overcurrent, a driving current control circuit 6 stops supplying the driving current only for a predetermined time set by a timer 4 and controls the driving current not to exceed the upper limit value. |
