PURPOSE:To provide a surface type connector which needs not print wirings for connecting contact pin with any passive element and which occupies a minor area on a printed circuit board. CONSTITUTION:A housing 1 is fitted with a contact pin 5, terminal 7, and grounding/fixing metal piece 10, and a capacitor array 15 is accommodated in an element accommodation chamber 4 furnished on the back of the housing 1. An input side external electrode 16 is connected with the contact pin 5 while an output side external electrode 17 is connected with the terminal 7, and a ground electrode 18 is connected with the metal piece 10. This filter connector is surface mounted on a printed circuit board by soldering the terminal 7 to a print wiring provided on the board. |
